This course will raise awareness levels across a broad range of equality & diversity related areas important to the client organisation. The focus will be on key knowledge and behaviours that impact the operations of the organisation and their key areas of legal responsibility.
Course Overview
Each course is tailored to the needs of individual clients, but most course will include the following elements:

- Understanding our community - key demographics
- Equality law - what must every delegate know about:
- Protected characteristics
- Discrimination
- Harassment
- Equality duties
- The importance of language in a diverse workforce
- Key policies and procedures on diversity in employment and service delivery
- Manifestations of prejudice and bias in the workplace and in our communities
